1990s hand-woven wool Navajo rug in Ganado Red pattern. Measures about 37" x 22.5" with a warp count of 9 per inch and a weft count of 32 per inch. Hand woven on typical Navajo vertical loom with hand spun wool and dyed with aniline dye. In beautiful condition with tight weave, vivid colors and intact edges. No stains, no restoration. The previous owner worked as a public health nurse in the reservation and bought directly from weavers. Certificate of appraisal included ($700.00). Photos show both sides.
