Circa 1930s Zuni Knifewing brooch made of sterling silver with stone-on-stone inlay work. Attributed to either Lambert or Bernard Homer. Materials include MOP, turquoise, spiny oyster and black jet. Measures about 3" x 2.25" from wingtip to wingtip. Weighs about 27.7 grams total. No hallmarks. "RUEX SET" etched on the back. In excellent used condition, very good patina, signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
